Background

Mission

  • To increase knowledge of the Arabic language, the noble language of the Quran, in the West, for Muslims and non-Muslims.
  • To ensure Muslims in the West develop a strong Islamic identity , through the teaching of Islamic history and civilization for example.
  • To empower Muslims in our society by thoroughly teaching a rounded curriculum in Islamic and Arabic studies.
  • To produce a generation of confident and educated Muslims, who will have the skills and knowledge to teach others about the real and merciful Islam. We will focus on the modern form of communication; the media, and also communication techniques, such as public speaking.
  • To address the issues that are faced by Muslims in the West today.
  • To address the perceived view non-Muslims have of Islam.
  • To build links between the Academy and other institutions in the UK and Worldwide.
  • To build bridges between Muslims and non-Muslims to share the reality and beauty of Islam.
  • To publish materials that are relevant for living as a Muslim in Western society.
